Amazing pasta making class!

I just took a pasta making class in Rome and it was absolutely fantastic! The Cesarina was so welcoming and taught us how to make several different pasta shapes from scratch. It was such a unique experience, way better than just eating out. I learned so much and had a blast doing it. I'm already planning my next trip to Italy and will definitely book another class with Cesarine. Highly recommend this to everyone!

Great value, first time booking

I was looking for something special for my trip to Italy and found Cesarine. I used a first booking discount which made a Sicilian cooking class very affordable. The experience was totally worth it. The Cesarina was so lovely and taught me a lot about regional ingredients. For the price I paid, it felt like an incredible deal. I'm glad I found them; it definitely enhanced my vacation without breaking the bank.

Consistent quality, returning customer

This was my third time booking with Cesarine, and they continue to deliver. I did a gelato making class this time in Florence, and it was just as enjoyable and well-run as my previous pizza and tiramisu workshop. The hosts are always so warm and the instructions are clear. It's nice to know I can always count on them for an authentic and fun experience. The consistency keeps me coming back whenever I'm in Italy.

Fun market tour

My friend and I did a market tour in Venice last month. It was pretty cool, got to see some local spots and try different things. The guide was nice, showed us around and explained stuff. We bought some local cheese. It was a good way to spend the morning, felt really local.

Overall good, delivery slow

I ordered some artisanal pasta and extra virgin olive oil for a friend's birthday. The products themselves were high quality and tasted great, so no complaints there. The website was easy to navigate and placing the order was straightforward. However, the shipping took a bit longer than I expected, about 9 days, which almost missed the birthday. It would be great if they offered a faster shipping option, even if it cost a little more. The price was reasonable for what I got, so the value was there. Just wish the delivery was quicker.

do they do black friday deals? waiting to book a group thing for spring if so.

L Linda Flores 1 month ago
Yeah, they usually have Black Friday discounts, mostly on gift cards or specific experiences. Keep an eye out around November.

I remember seeing something last Black Friday. It's a good time to snag a deal for future bookings.

how long are the cooking classes usually? trying to plan my day around it.

J Jason Parker 1 month ago
The one I did was about 3-4 hours, including eating what we made. It felt like a good amount of time.

Most seem to be around 3 hours, some a bit longer if they include a market tour first. It'll say in the description.

thinking about cesarine vs airbnb experiences for a cooking class in venice. anyone got thoughts on which is better?

S Sandra Green 1 month ago
Cesarine is usually more authentic and with actual home cooks, not just professional chefs. Airbnb can be hit or miss sometimes, depending on the host. If you want a real local feel, Cesarine is probably the way to go.

I've used both. Cesarine felt more personal, like you're really in someone's home. Airbnb is good too, but sometimes it feels more like a business than a genuine cultural exchange.

thinking of booking a class for early summer, will there be a good selection of stuff or do they get fully booked quickly then?

B Barbara Ramirez 2 weeks ago
Summer is super popular, so definitely book ahead if you have specific dates or types of classes in mind. Especially for the bigger cities like Florence or Rome.

L Leah Brown 2 weeks ago
I booked a market tour last summer maybe a month out and it was fine, but a specific cooking class could be trickier. Just check the availability early.

what if i have like a gluten allergy? can they handle that for cooking classes?

J Jessica Turner 1 month ago
Yes, they usually can. You just need to mention it when you book, they're pretty good about dietary restrictions.

T Thomas Robinson 1 month ago
Definitely. I saw on their site they handle food intolerances. Just let them know in advance so the Cesarina can plan the menu.
